Do you break rules?Rules, like arrows along the Camino, are guides to direct us to a specific goal and to maintain order among all who walk. But they are only guides. If we believe our path must contradict their norm, we can only go our way with grace. If the rule says, "Walk," and we need to ride because we are blistered, we can only ride. If the arrow points left and we think the valley to the right looks more interesting, why not go there? |
